Update Installation Instructions
CashierPRO is always being updated with suggestions from you. To take advantage of the latest developments, keep your system up to date with the following updates. The update must be installed on each computer that uses CashierPRO.
Steps to Complete the Update
Make sure all computers are out of CashierPRO.
From the CashierPRO Database Utility, perform the Backup Databases function
From the CashierPRO Database Utility, Stop All Databases
Download the update to the Server and do the following:
- Double-click on the update to start the process.
- When prompted, click Next through the Install Wizard screens.
- When the Update is installed, click Finish. – If there are any errors during the update, do not continue; contact CashierPRO Support.
- From the CashierPRO Database Utility, Start All Databases
- The update will now be distributed to each computer. The update will install automatically, but it may display a User Account Control screen asking you to run cashierpro_update.exe. Click Yes to allow the update to install.
- Do not attempt to start CashierPRO on a computer before the update is installed. If you have any issues or questions, contact CashierPRO Support.
